About Us

WHO WE ARE

Congregational:

While each member church has the freedom to direct its own affairs it must never use its independence and autonomy as a license for being unaccountable. We see the intrinsic importance of being interconnected and interdependent with each other. We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the head of the CCCC and provides for its necessary leadership through those gifted individuals He has called (Eph. 4:11-12). We also value the importance of mutual accountability to all the CCCC and its National Board of Directors.

Christian:

We are first and foremost followers of Jesus Christ. Being known as a Christian is more important than being known as a denominational name. Our passion is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and to live out our lives consistent with the teaching of God’s Word.

Churches:

Our churches hold to the biblical doctrines of orthodox and evangelical Christianity. Our simplicity enables us to adapt to the needs of a changing world. More importantly, our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, on which our church life centers, provides the basis on which Christians of all traditions can unite in their worship and service. Our structure demands neither uniformity, nor the dreary constitution of organic union.

Canada:

Churches represented from coast to coast in the responsibility of presenting the Good News. Our National Office is located in the city of Brantford, Ontario.
