I want to welcome you to the Congregational Christian Churches website. It’s my hope that you will find everything you need to discover just who we are and what we are all about.
I am both honoured and humbled to serve as the chairman of our national board of directors at such a critical time in our church’s history. These exciting days present us with an abundance of opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the people we encounter in our everyday life. It has become clear that we can no longer simply assume that people will eventually “show up” in our churches. As never before, God’s church is being challenged to take the life changing message of Jesus Christ outside the walls of our churches and more than that, outside the walls of many of our traditions. With that in mind we need to be vigilant in looking for creative and effective ways to share the timeless message of God’s provision through Jesus. But there will always remain one essential component in getting that job done. God is still looking for men and women who are passionate about Him and who have a heart for the lost like His heart for the lost.
That’s my desire for us as a national church – to be a people who are committed to, and excited about, sharing with everyone we encounter, the Good News that changed our lives. Together we have incredible potential to make a difference, not only in our country, but also in our world.
